The Stevenson-Carson School District provides all special education and related services through the Educational Service District 112 (See ESA website for additional information). Special education is provided for students with an active Individualized Education Plan (IEP) with an identified disability. Special education includes services such as specialized academic instruction, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, and transportation as appropriate. Services are provided for students from 3 to 21 years of age who qualify.
In order to qualify for special education, students must be assessed by the school psychologist after the school has attempted a series of interventions.
